Parent/Child (16 months - 3 years)
Parents work as teachers with their children under the direction of a gymnastics instructor. The class begins with an elaborate obstacle course that not only challenges the child's ability, but also introduces important social skills like staying in line and taking turns. The instructor then takes all the children and parents to the gym equipment (bars, beam, and trampoline) and other areas to work on specific skills. The class ends with activities that develop eye tracking and hand/eye coordination using balls, parachutes, and other apparatus. Pre-School/Kinder Gym (3-5 years) A specially designed curriculum is used to provide a safe and progressive approach to learning, which in turn, allows the children many opportunities for success and praise. Every lesson begins with a warm-up followed by three event rotations. The focus is on improving the child's body awareness, balance, rhythm, coordination, and self confidence. An elaborate obstacle course is used at this level. Star Gymnastics (6-15 years) Prior to enrollment, every new student is tested to assure placement in the appropriate class with other children of the same abilities. This helps to ensure that each class member is working at the same level and provides a positive environment for everyone. Educational Class activities include a structured warm-up, work on the gymnastics apparatus, and a conditioning period at the end of each class. This program has six levels of gymnastics fitness training. Beginner
